Abstract: Prime numbers are the building blocks for the positive integers; in particular, every integer n ≥ 2 can be expressed uniquely (up to ordering) as a product of primes. I will give several proofs that there are infinitely many primes. The proofs touch on ideas from number theory, set theory, calculus, and dynamical systems.
